Like a prize fighter entering into the ring I found myself exiting out of the doors of the church as crowds of people lined the streets as far as my eyes could see. They all seemed to be awaiting my arrival. A large military personnel transport type truck was ready to take me where I was destined to go. There was a handful of people already sitting on the truck waiting to travel with me. I was handed a bull horn to speak in as I was helped onto the back of the truck. It all came so natural for me although I had never done anything like that before. I began to speak to the crowds of people. Nothing had been rehearsed and I did not read from any prepared notes. The words flowed with great ease. The highlight of my message was the words; CHOOSE THIS DAY WHO YOU WILL SERVE, CHOOSE CHRIST JESUS. The truck moved out with the driver seeming to know where he was going. Up and down the streets of the big city people stood as if they were waiting for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade to begin or the New Year's Eve countdown ball in Times Square to drop. Hundreds of people along our route were out to hear this strange person share the message of Christ and to warn of the great need and urgency for them to make their choice now before it was too late to choose Christ as their Lord and Savior. I was met with four very different responses from the vast crowd of people. There were some who were very angry with my message and were so infuriated that they threw objects at the truck in hopes of it hurting me enough that my message and warning would be halted. The bottles, rocks, tomatoes and whatever they | could use to throw never reached their intended target and I continued on. The second response came from people that thought I was a big joke and my message nonsense. Their laughter was so loud that it would often drown out the angry words and taunts of those who were enraged. Both refused to even consider the possibility that I may have been telling the truth. Then there were the ones who were listening very intently. They knew what I was saying was the truth. I could see in their eyes and their body language the conflict of wanting to take heed and the desire to continue in their life choices. These people knew the truth, but were not ready to make the commitment to follow Christ. They remained quiet, not angry as many were or laughing hysterically as the others. They were just still as they battled within themselves and allowed procrastination to win over. Thank God, for the forth response! In the vast sea of those who rejected the message were the ones who gladly accepted and did not hesitate to climb on board until we were full to capacity and then those who could not board followed closely behind as I continued my journey throughout the city. There were others who followed to taunt or laugh and those that could not make up their minds followed to see where this all was leading. Finally, the truck parked and our journey ended at the shore | where a boat waiting for us. Those who received the message and heeded the warning boarded the boat with me while the other three groups stood on the shore continuing their particular group's response. As the boat headed for the open water, fire swallowed up the water. The fire, remaining at a safe distance from the boat, formed an impenetrable wall between us and those left on the shore. As I looked through the flickering flames at the people left behind the anger disappeared off the faces and the laughter had stopped. Those who knew I was telling the truth but did not want to make that faithful decision were seen with bowed heads and their bodies still as if they were bracing for something. The further we went out into the water the more the flames made it obvious that there would be no way we could go back in a rescue attempt. Slowly the boat began to rise out of the water and as it did what looked like bombs began to fall from the sky. The people were wailing, as they ran back and forth, flapping their arms and screaming, "Wait we believe, we believe help us!" The faces through the fire showed great horror and immense terror and agony. And all I could say was why didn't you believe when you had the chance? Just as the sorrow for their torment began to overtake me the voice from heaven called to me and said, "Turn around and do not look back!" I immediately obeyed. I then turned to the greatest joy imaginable when we met the Lord in the air. |

John 4:1-3
Let not your heart be troubled,
you believe in God, believe also in Me.
In My Father's house are many mansions,
if it were not so, I would have told you,
I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and
prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive
you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
